A little help.

Which Facebook videos can I save?

Try a public Facebook video or Reel. Videos that need a login, private posts and live broadcasts aren’t supported. Facebook sometimes limits access, so some public videos may not be available.

Where do I find the video link?

Open the original post in Facebook, then tap Share and look for Copy link. Some versions put this inside the three-dot menu. For the most reliable result, open the video itself and copy its link. Shared-post links also work when Facebook exposes the attached video publicly.

Why doesn’t a shared-post link work?

A post link can point to photos, text, several videos, or a page that requires a login. Open the specific video in Facebook, choose Share → Copy link, and paste that link here. We won’t ask you to sign in to Facebook.

Will private videos work?

We’re starting with public videos. Private posts and videos that need an account aren’t supported. We’ll never ask for your social account password here.

What should I save?

Save videos you own or have permission to download. Being publicly viewable doesn’t automatically make a video available for reuse.
